What event concludes the “jerusalem” section of the book of acts?
Leni [432]
Contents. The Book of Acts clearly focuses on the beginnings of the church, and two people… The apostle Peter, and the one who actually possessed the courage to go to the farthest parts of the known world with the gospel of Jesus Christ, his name was Paul the Apostle. The Gospel spread from Israel, northward to Antioch, and then westward to Asia Minor, Greece, and finally Rome, the heart of the Roman Empire.

The first 12 chapters of the book of Acts deal with Peter, and the remainder of the book, the last 16 chapters is devoted to the apostle Paul.

The major areas of history with which the author has dealt are :
1) The establishment and progress of the church at Jerusalem until the dispersion which arose at the time of Stephen's death (Acts 1-7);
2) The preaching of the gospel to the surrounding area, including its introduction to the Gentiles (Acts 8-12) ;
3) The preaching tours of Paul and the struggle to define the church's position with regard to the law of Moses (Acts 13:1-21:16); and
4) Paul's imprisonment, which began in Jerusalem and was concluded in Rome (Acts 21:17-28 :30).

Answer and Explanation:

The answer is All of the Above.

--

In early 1915, Germany introduced a policy of unrestricted submarine warfare in the Atlantic. This meant U-Boats were hunting and sinking merchant shipping without warning. The RMS Lusitania left New York on 1st May, 1915, bound for Liverpool. On 7th May it was spotted off the coast of Ireland by U-20 and torpedoed. Of 1,962 passengers, 1,198 lost their lives. Among the dead were 128 Americans, causing widespread outrage in the US.

--

In January 1917, the German diplomatic representative in Mexico received a secret telegram penned by German Foreign Secretary Arthur Zimmermann. It proposed a secret alliance between Germany and Mexico, should the United States enter the war. If the Central Powers were to win, Mexico would be free to annex territory in New Mexico, Texas and Arizona. Unfortunately for Germany, the telegram was intercepted by the British and decrypted by Room 40. The British passed the document to Washington and it appeared on the front page of American newspapers on 1st March.

This combination of factors turned public opinion around. On 6 April, the United States declared war on Germany and began to mobilize. The first American troops arrived in Europe in June.

--

Germany resumed unrestricted submarine warfare in 1917. Knowing they risked provoking the United States into joining the war, Germany gambled on defeating the British before the US had a chance to mobilize. During February and March, several US cargo vessels were sunk without warning, resulting in the United States severing diplomatic ties with Berlin.

Bacon's Rebellion was largely due to a A. conflict between the aristocrats and frontiersmen in Virginia. B. conflict between the
murzikaleks [220]

Answer:

conflict between Native Americans and English in Virginia.

Explanation:

The constant attacks of Native American tribes in Virginia in 1676 provoked the reaction of the colonists, led by Bacon. They attacked the main defense site of the Indians and killed about one hundred and fifty of them. When the colonial authorities opposed this and arrested Bacon, an uprising broke out. After Bacon was liberated, some 400 uprisings marched with him, insisting that they had the right to defend themselves against the Indians.

Although an agreement was made, Bacon's rebellion was suffocated by the authorities.
