I believe it should be $3

You would need to divide 6.60 and 2⅕

You could use a calculator and divide 6.60 and 2.2 (2⅕) to get 3 or divide by using fractions.

Make both 6.60 (6 6/10) and 2⅕ into improper fractions

66/10 ÷ 11/5

Turn it into a multiplication problem and flip 11/5

66/10 × 5/11

Multiply across then divide or simplify

330/110 = 3

So $3 would be your answer

Hope this helps!

Beth leaves her home on her bike, traveling down a long country road, at
Tom [10]
In this question, you are given Beth velocity(8mph) and Brandon velocity(12mph). To answer this question, you will need to find the initial distance of Beth and Brandon. The calculation would be:

Initial distance= Beth velocity * duration= 8 mph * 15 minutes * hour/60 minutes= 2miles

After that, the calculation would be:

beth_velocity * time + initial distance = brandon_velocity * time
8mph * time + 2 miles= 12 mph* time
4mph * time = 2 miles
time= 2 miles / 4 mph= 1/2 hour = 30 minutes

Genrish500 [490]

Answer:

x=+-√10+3

Step-by-step explanation:

x^2=6x+1

x^2-6x=1

To create a trinomial square on the left side of the equation, find a value that is

equal to the square of half of b

a is the number next to x^2

b is the number next to x

c is the last number

b is -6

half of b is -3

square of half of b is 9

put 9 on both sides of the = sign

x^2-6x+9=1+9

x^2-6x+9=10

(x-3)^2=10

take the square root of both sides of the = sign

√(x-3)^2=√10

x-3=√10

x=+-√10+3
