the property of a square that is also a property of a rectangle are the following:

Opposite sides of a square and rectangle are both parallel and equal in length.

All four angles of a square and rectangle are equal. (Each is 360°/4 = 90°, so every angle of a square is a right angle.)

The diagonals of a square and rectangle are equal.

Line k has a slope of 2/3. If line m is parallel to line k, then it has a slope of
puteri [66]

Answer:

Line M would also have a slope of 2/3.

Step-by-step explanation:

When two line are parallel that means that they will never intersect.

In order for two lines to avoid intersection they would have to be at the same slope.

Since lines K and line M are parallel to each other they have to have the same slope.

1 pt) find the average rate of change of the function over the given intervals. h(t)=\cot (t);
blondinia [14]

\text{Consider the function}\\
\\
h(t)=\cot(t) \text{ on the interval }\left [ \frac{\pi}{4}, \ \frac{3\pi}{4} \right ]\\
\\
\text{we know that the average rate of change of a funtion f(x) over the }\\
\text{interval [a, b] is given by}\\
\\
f_{avg}=\frac{f(b)-f(a)}{b-a}\\
\\
\text{so using this, the average rate of change of the given function is}

h_{avg}=\frac{h\left ( \frac{3\pi}{4} \right )-h\left ( \frac{\pi}{4} \right )}{\frac{3\pi}{4}-\frac{\pi}{4}}\\
\\
=\frac{\cot \left ( \frac{3\pi}{4} \right )-\cot \left ( \frac{\pi}{4} \right )}{\frac{3\pi-\pi}{4}}\\
\\
=\frac{(-1)-(1)}{\frac{2\pi}{4}}\\
\\
=\frac{-2}{\frac{\pi}{2}}\\
\\
\text{Average rate of change of function}=\frac{-4}{\pi}

DOES ANYONE UNDERTAND THIS? IF SO PLEASE HELP
Nana76 [90]
The sides must be equal otherwise BC and AD wouldn't be parallel.  So
12x-6 = 2x+7
10x = 13
x = 13/10 = 1.3

How do you use the properties of exponents and logarithms to rewrite functions in equivalent forms and solve equations
Leona [35]
Exponential:

It is called the exponential function of base a, to that whose generic form is f (x) = a ^ x, being a positive number other than 1.
 Every exponential function of the form f (x) = a^x, complies with the followingProperties:
 1. The function applied to the zero value is always equal to 1: f (0) = a ^ 0  = 1
 2. The exponential function of 1 is always equal to the base: f (1) = a ^ 1  = a.
 3. The exponential function of a sum of values is equal to the product of the application of said function on each value separately.
 f (m + n) = a ^ (m + n) = a ^ m · a ^ n
 = f (m) · f (n).
 4. The exponential function of a subtraction is equal to the quotient of its application to the minuend divided by the application to the subtrahend:
 f (p - q) = a ^ (p - q) = a ^ p / a ^ q
 Logarithm:

In the loga (b), a is called the base of the logarithm and b is called an argument, with a and b positive.
 Therefore, the definition of logarithm is:
 loga b = n ---> a ^ n = b (a> 0, b> 0)
