the property of a square that is also a property of a rectangle are the following:

Opposite sides of a square and rectangle are both parallel and equal in length.

All four angles of a square and rectangle are equal. (Each is 360°/4 = 90°, so every angle of a square is a right angle.)

The diagonals of a square and rectangle are equal.

The equation for a linear growth/decay is given by the form y=mx+c where m is the rate of increase and c is the value of y when x=0
