Earlier investigators collect and note as much information about the artifacts. The idea is that based on the results previously obtained 1) you should be able to reproduce the same results if a modern scientist does the experiment again. 2) The results obtained can be used to develop new ideas or concepts and even better technology. Moreover, modern scientists are able to take on the idea that sometimes we don't need to rely on fancy equipment to get answers.

How specifies that are separated for a river, rocks, mountains, forest ; can at some point not being able to interbreed anymore
Allushta [10]

Answer:

Species separated by a physical barrier for a long time, suffer allopatric speciation, so they can not interbreed anymore.

Explanation:

Allopatric speciation consists of the geographic separation of a continuous genetic background giving place to two or more new geographically isolated populations. These separations might be due to migration, extinction of geographically intermediate populations, or geological events. In this speciation, some barriers impede genetic interchange, or genetic flow, as the two new populations that are separated can not get together and mate anymore. These barriers might be geographical or ecological.

Vicariance is the geographical separation of an original population into two or more new groups. Discontinuities in the physical environment like rivers, mountains, water, etc., are physical barriers that impede genetic flow between the separated groups.

The process of allopatric speciation involves different steps:

  1. The emergence of the barrier.
  2. Interruption in the genetic interchange
  3. The occurrence of new mutations and their accumulation in time in each population. Slow and gradual differentiation.
  4. Genetic divergence by natural selection and reproductive isolation makes it impossible for the two groups to mate even if the barrier disappears.
  5. Prezigotic isolation mechanisms favored by selection once occurs a secondary contact between the new species in formation.

Which animals did not survive the mesozoic extinction?
NemiM [27]

Answer: Dinosaurs

Many forms of plants, invertebrates, and fishes evolved during the  Mesozoic Era.  Since the dinosaurs were the dominant animals on land then, the Mesozoic Era is called the Age of Reptiles. Dinosaurs, however, became extinct even before the end of the Era.

ATP and NADH are important energy carriers in the cell.
gulaghasi [49]

Answer:

1. Diffusible through the cytoplasm: BOTH

ATP is a molecule found in the cytoplasm. During the glycolysis process, two molecules of NADH are formed in the cytoplasm and are subsequently transported to the mitochondrial matrix.

2. Can donate hydrogen atoms: NADH

Cytoplasmic nadh transfers hydrogen to oxaloacetate forming malate.

3. Energy stored in bonds between two terminal phosphates: ATP

The bonds between phosphate groups like those of atp are called phosphoanhydride bonds and are used as "high energy" bonds.

4. Contains adenosine ATP

the atp is known as adenosine triphosphate

5. Activates sugars for glycolysis

ATP, by phosphorylating glucose, activates glucose with two phosphate groups (to increase its energy) so that it can be used in other processes when necessary.

6. Two (net) molecules are generated via glycolysis ATP

7. Supplies the electron transport chain nadh

In the electron transport chain each molecule of NADH is converted to 3 of ATP.

8. Hydrolysis can be coupled to biosynthetic reactions

ATP can be hydrolyzed to ADP and Pi by adding water, releasing energy.

9. Can transfer phosphate groups

ATP provides energy by phosphate group transfer

10. Contains nicotinamide ring NADH
