Which of the following best explains the different ways in which fact and historical fact are used in a story?
OlgaM077 [116]
The sentence that best explains the different ways in which fact and historical fiction are used in a story is option D. while facts can be proven, historical fiction includes imagined details to add dramatic interest. A historical fiction is described as an imagined story that happens in the past and sometimes adopts a real time period in which the story is set.

Read the simile and its meaning: strong as an ox−very strong Select the sentence that correctly uses the simile. Jim typed fast
Rom4ik [11]

Answer:

Jim lifted the heavy bag of concrete because he was as strong as an ox.

Explanation:

It is the fourth one because it is the only sentence describing someone/thing as strong. (as an ox.)

The first one has nothing to do with being strong.

The second one would be correct if it was "The boat was as strong as an ox as it persevered through the rough waters.", but since that isn't the sentence, it wouldn't work.

The third one is incorrect because if the toy was made to be as strong as an ox, why is it breaking into tiny pieces?

Therefore, the fourth one is right. :)

What could be a good introduction about video games?
Ray Of Light [21]

A good  way to have fun while working your brain at the same time? Video games, they will keep you occupied for hours and every second of that time your mind will be at work learning. There are an infinite amount of them with new ones being made everyday, they are all different from each other and no two are alike. Videos games are also a really good social experience and a great way to make new friends. Most games are cheap and a lot are free so you really have nothing to lose.

It's not the best as I threw it together on the spot. I would change a few thing so that way if your teacher checks it for plagiarism it will come back original.

Mademuasel [1]
Personally I think D is the best answer because people who believe in manifest destiny would most likely think that same way but you didn’t really specify on what the author said
