Just think of it as normal subtraction. They both have the same denominators all you need to do is subtract. 11/12-7/12 is 4/12 if you simplify which just means to find the number that both 4 and 12 can go into equally the simplified answer would be 1/3. You just need to divide 4 by both the top and the bottom (numerator and denominator).

What should the IUPAC name for a binary covalent compound lack? prefixes Roman numerals an -ide ending the name of a nonmetal.
vitfil [10]

The  IUPAC name for a binary covalent compound lack prefixes such as mono, di, tri tetra etc.

A binary compound is a compound that is composed of only two elements. Many binary compounds could be made up of a metal and a nonmetal or even two nonmetals as the case may be. Examples of binary compounds include; SO2, NaH, K2S etc.

We must note that a binary covalent compound uses Roman numerals to indicate the oxidation state of the central atom in the compound. For instance, SO2 is called Sulfur IV oxide.

Hence, the  IUPAC name for a binary covalent compound lack prefixes such as mono, di, tri tetra etc.

The first sequence of transformation.
If you look closely, the reflection was made from the y-axis. The reflection would be above or below the x-axis if the reflection was to be made through the x-axis.
Also, the figure was moved 2 units to the left. Hence the reflection was moved 2 units from where the reflection should originally be which was (-6,-4).

Hope this answer is helpful.
