Why hasn't 3D printing been more publicly used?
marshall27 [118]

Answer:

Probably because it's really expensive and not well known.

Explanation:

Some metals and plastic are not able to be altered for 3D printing, which makes this harder for some people to get hold of. Most of the materials are also not able to be recycled, which makes it harder.

           <li>First</li>

           <li>Second</li>

           <li>Third</li>

       </ul>

       Here is another unordered list of options:

Implement function easyCrypto() that takes as input a string and prints its encryption
jasenka [17]

Answer:

The program written in python is as follows;

import string

def easyCrypto(inputstring):

      for i in range(len(inputstring)):

             try:

                    ind = string.ascii_lowercase.index(inputstring[i])

                    pos = ind+1

                    if pos%2 == 0:

                           print(string.ascii_lowercase[ind-1],end="")

                    else:

                           print(string.ascii_lowercase[ind+1],end="")

             except:

                    ind = string.ascii_uppercase.index(inputstring[i])

                    pos = ind+1

                    if pos%2 == 0:

                           print(string.ascii_uppercase[ind-1],end="")

                    else:

                           print(string.ascii_uppercase[ind+1],end="")

anystring = input("Enter a string: ")

easyCrypto(anystring)

Explanation:

The first line imports the string module into the program

import string

The functipn easyCrypto() starts here

def easyCrypto(inputstring):

This line iterates through each character in the input string

      for i in range(len(inputstring)):

The try except handles the error in the program

             try:

This line gets the index of the current character (lower case)

                    ind = string.ascii_lowercase.index(inputstring[i])

This line adds 1 to the index

                    pos = ind+1

This line checks if the character is at even position

                    if pos%2 == 0:

If yes, it returns the alphabet before it

                           print(string.ascii_lowercase[ind-1],end="")

                    else:

It returns the alphabet after it, if otherwise

                           print(string.ascii_lowercase[ind+1],end="")

The except block does the same thing as the try block, but it handles uppercase letters

<em>              except: </em>

<em>                     ind = string.ascii_uppercase.index(inputstring[i]) </em>

<em>                     pos = ind+1 </em>

<em>                     if pos%2 == 0: </em>

<em>                            print(string.ascii_uppercase[ind-1],end="") </em>

<em>                     else: </em>

<em>                            print(string.ascii_uppercase[ind+1],end="") </em>

<em />

The main starts here

This line prompts user for input

anystring = input("Enter a string: ")

This line calls the easyCrypto() function

easyCrypto(anystring)

In Java please,
Bogdan [553]

Answer:

  1. import java.util.Scanner;
  2. public class Main {
  3.    public static void main(String[] args) {
  4.        Scanner input = new Scanner(System.in);
  5.        System.out.print("Enter meal total: $");
  6.        double meal = input.nextDouble();
  7.        double finalAmount = meal + meal *0.09;
  8.        if(finalAmount * 0.15 > 8){
  9.            finalAmount = finalAmount + 8;
  10.        }else{
  11.            finalAmount = finalAmount + finalAmount * 0.15;
  12.        }
  13.        System.out.println("Final amount: $" + finalAmount);
  14.    }
  15. }

Explanation:

Firstly, create a Scanner object and print user to input total meal (Line 5-7). Next, add the 9% tax to the meal total (Line 8). Use an if statement to check if the finalAmount multiplied by the 15% of tips is bigger than 8 (Line 10), if so, only add 8 to the final amount (Line 11). If not, add 15% tips to final amount (Line 12). At last, print out the final amount (Line 15).
