False

Further Explanation:

The full form of IQ is Intelligence Quotient in which the score is inferred from many standardized tests made to assess human intelligence. This abbreviation “IQ” was formed by psychologist William Stern. It was the German term of Intelligenzquotient. He used this term for the scoring methods for the intelligence test at the University of Breslau. He also advocated this theory in the book which was published in 1912. Historically the IQ score is obtained by division of the person’s mental age score to the intelligence test by persons chronological age which is expressed in years and months. The fraction which is the result of the quotient obtained is then multiplied by the hundred to get the IQ score. Nearly two-thirds of the people have their score between 85 and 115. IQ score has been associated with morbidity and mortality, the parent social status. There is also the significance of Heritability of IQ. The scores are beneficial for the educational placement, evaluation of job applicants. Even though the students improve the score on the standardized test but they are unable to improve the cognitive abilities that are based on memory, speed, and attention. The theory helps us in studying psychometric intelligence of the population.

Answer: False

It is unclear what the effect of the environment is on a child's IQ. While some scholars argue that IQ is innate, some others believe that a child's IQ is dependent on his context. Regardless of whether this is the case or not, a child raised in substandard conditions will either see a decrease in his IQ, or will experience no change. He will not experience an increase in IQ.

Ksenya-84 [330]

A cultural group that exists harmoniously within a larger, dominant culture is called a Subculture.

A subculture lives in harmonious existence with the b, though it lives differently from it. That being the case, it never opposes its dominant culture. An example of this can be Catholics living in America which has more of Protestant majority.

A dominant culture is a culture whose members are in majority in that particular region whereas a subculture has its members in minority. That being said, a group does not always have to have more majority to rule, they can also do through societal norms as happens in South Africa, where even though whites are less yet they rule.

e-lub [12.9K]

Answer:

None of the options justify the reason they are true long distance migrants

Explanation:

From the passage, they are true long distance migrants because they nest in coastal wetlands of northern Europe but FLY SOUTH FOR THOUSAND OF MILES TO SPEND THE EUROPEAN WINTERS IN ANTARCTICA.

The highlighted statement above explains why they are true long long term distance migrants because they live in northern Europe but have to travel down south to enjoy winter. This distance from the north to the south is a very far distance from what can be inferred from the passage.

So therefore, Arctic terns are true long distance migrants as they nest in wetland northern Europe but travel south to enjoy winter in Antarctica.
