Kittur Chennamma was an Indian Queen of Kittur, she was widely known for her heroic and leading a rebellion against the British East India Company in the 1800s, particularly in the year 1824 to keep Indian control over the region.
She is well revered as an image of independence in India has become one of the foremost female leaders to revolt against British rule in India.
