Answer:

Basically for:

A. Half the size

B. Double the size.

C. Make it a quarter of the size.

To do this, I suggest using a ruler and finding out the length of each size.

Once you find out the length multiply it by 1/2, 2, or 1/4, depending on which polygon it is. Then when you get the new length, use the ruler to draw it.

Answer:

A copy with a scale factor of 1/2 means that each side of new figure must be half.

An scale factor of 2 means that you need to double the size of the figure.

An scale factor of 1/4, means you need to draw figure which is a quarter of the original.

  • Let's say that the figure A has sides 8, 4 and 2. The new figure A' is gonna have sides 4, 2 and 1.
  • Let's say that the figure B has sides 4, 4, 3 and 3. The new figure B' is gonna have sides 8, 8, 6 and 6.
  • Finally, let's say that figure C has sides 8, 8, 12 and 12. So the new figure C' is gonna have isdes 2, 2, 3 and 3.

Answer:

the domain is equal to all real numbers greater than or equal to 0

Step-by-step explanation:

The domain is all the numbers in which the graph reaches in regards to the x axis

We can see from the graph that it starts at 0 and then moves right

THis means that the domain is equal to all real numbers greater than or equal to 0

Answer:

14 and Associative

Step-by-step explanation:

Well, because the first equation is 88 and if you put 14 in the other one you would get 14 and how so 88-32=56 and 4 divided by 56 is 14 so the answer is 14 their and it's associative.

<h3>Answer: B) y = -x</h3>

==============================================

Work Shown:

g(x) = x^2-2

g(-2) = (-2)^2-2

g(-2) = 2

Saying (-2, g(-2)) is the same as saying (-2, 2)

---------------

g(x) = x^2-2

g(1) = 1^2 - 2

g(1) = -1

Saying (1, g(1)) is the same as saying (1, -1)

---------------

Let's find the slope of the line through (-2,2) and (1,-1)

m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

m = (-1-2)/(1-(-2))

m = (-1-2)/(1+2)

m = -3/3

m = -1

Now turn to point slope form to find the equation

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

y - 2 = -1(x - (-2))

y - 2 = -(x + 2)

y - 2 = -x - 2

y-2+2 = -x-2+2 ... add 2 to both sides

y = -x

You could use the other point (1,-1) and you'd get the same answer. The slope m = -1 is the same each time.
