This is a sum of fractions with different denominators.

You can solve them by transforming to fractions with the same denominator.

If you multiply the fraction 2/5 by 2/2 and the simpliy the fraction 2/4 to 1/2 and then multiply it by 5/5 you get:

2/ 5 * 2/2 = 4 / 10

2/4 = 1/2 * 5/5 = 5 / 10

Now you have two fractions with equal denominator which you can sum directly:

4/10 + 5/10 = 9/10

Answer: option D. 9/10

Newton's Law of Gravitation:

Statement: According to this law, when two mass bodies are separated at finite distance then there must be an attractive force experience by them which is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of their separation.

Consider two mass bodies m1 & m2 be kept at distance d. Then the force of attraction F is given as

                            Fam_{1}.m_{2}

                                 Fa1/d^2

Now, from above equations, we have

                          Fa\frac{m_{1}m_{2}}{d^2}

or,                           F=G\frac{m_{1}m_{2}}{d^2}

Here         G=6.67*10^{-11}Mm^2kg^{-2}   is the universal gravitational constant.

What is the slope in slope-intercept form for these graphs?
Irina-Kira [14]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

for this graph  find rise over run ,  and where the line crosses they y axis.. sooo ..

it crosses at -2 and  the slope is rise over run  or y/x and I can see by the graph that the line goes up 1 when it goes over 1... so the slope is +1

sooo...

use the slope intercept form   y = mx + b

y = 1x + (-2)

y = x - 2   :)

The point-slope form of the equation of the line that passes through (1,-1) and has a slope of 4
Ainat [17]

Answer:y = 4x - 5

Step-by-step explanation:

point slope form is in the form of y = mx + b. m is the slope so we plug thatin and have the equation y = 4x + b. since we also have a point on the line we can plug those into the equation too. -1 = 4 * 1 + b.

now we simplify that through algebra.

-1 = 4 + b

b= -5

sp we get b and we can say the equation is y = 4x -5
