Which is a central idea of the article?
Setler79 [48]

Answer: A. An alliance with Ousamequin helped the  Pilgrims survive and lasted 50 years.

Explanation:

There is no article referenced however the above should be the correct answer because it is a topic or idea that a passage can be built upon and that the other options can fall under.

When the English settlers first arrived in the Plymouth Colony they made contact with the Wampanoag who were led by the great Chief Ousamequin. Ousamequin saw this as an opportunity to protect his people and so got into an alliance with them.

This alliance was mutually beneficial because it enabled an exchanged of information and absence of hostilities that ensured that the Pilgrims survived. The alliance went on to last more than 50 years.

Are the goals and objectives of the constitution, such as rule of law, relevant today?
sveticcg [70]
I would say yes, the goals and objectives of the constitution are still relevant today.  When the constitution says, "Establish Justice", it is implying they want to set up a legal system fair to all, which indeed is very important today.  It also ensures domestic tranquility, which protects us all from unlawful acts.  Lastly, it provides us common defense, which is protection from other countries.Hope this helps!!

Choose one, then choose 2 equivalent gods from two other ancient religions (equivalent meaning that they are gods of something s
RoseWind [281]

Answer:

Zeus, Odin, Amun Ra.

Explanation:

Zeus: Leader of the Greek Pantheon, God of the sky, hospitality, and thunder.

Odin: leader of the Norse Pantheon, God of healing, poetry, war, knowledge, and magic.

Amun Ra: leader of the Egyptian Pantheon, and God of the sun.

Societal impact of Polytheism: In ancient Greece, because there were many gods who needed pleasing, Greeks were quick to be hospitable, generous, kind, courageous, and honorable. Many gods that require pleasing for food, money, shelter, and other basic necessities commanded each and every person of all ages to be the best they could be.

Traditional Impact of Polytheism: Because of many gods to please, people often would host large parades and festivals in honor of gods to gain favor with that god.

Combat Effects of Polytheism: Often, in ancient civilizations, there was a god of war. In war, the goal was to kill as many of the enemy as possible to gain the favor of your war god.

I hope this clears some things up. Good luck. :)
