This sequence is a geomtric sequence with common ratio = -\frac{1}{3} and a_1 = -324

\frac{a_2}{a_1} = \frac{108}{-324} = -\frac{1}{3},

\frac{a_3}{a_2} = \frac{-36}{108} = -\frac{1}{3} and so on..

We have to find the next term in this sequence i.e, a_5

Using nth sequence formula:

a_5= -324(-\frac{1}{3})^{5-1} = -324(-\frac{1}{3})^{4} = -324 \times \frac{1}{81}= -4
