Vegetarians should eat lots of different vegetables and dairy, such as eggs, beans, cheese, quinoa, peas, yogurt, leaf vegetables, tofu, milk, and many others.
An important thing is to make sure you get enough B12, which is commonly in meats and animal products, but you can eat cheeses, yogurt, and eggs.
Also to help stay healthy and avoid health problems you can exercise regularly and get a good amount of sleep.

I've actually been vegetarian for about 7 years and I'm doing pretty good and have no health problems really :) hope I could help!
