Answer:

Explanation:

I am retired. I have a pension that takes care of my needs for now. It won't once the economies realize what they've done. Practically no one will be able to retire.

So I'm lucky in that I can pretty much do what I want within the jurisdiction where I live. Right now the virus is leading us on a merry chase and our borders are closed. I'm told it's a good thing because the medical care is being overwhelmed. I certainly didn't plan that.

I have the best care that anyone could wish for. I have Cancer but my two specialists take of me with a medication that only 10% of the population respond to, so I'm lucky. That's something I didn't plan on either but I should have. Both my parents succumbed to Cancer. And you have to take into account the bad with the good.

I love to travel and look forward to the borders opening up. Nothing is going to hold me up. You must always figure on what interests you have to become what you like to do. Everyone where I am does have an interest, but I don't think watching television should really count. I do like answer questions on Brainly. I've learned how to write answers that I'm satisfied with, even if students are not.

Pharoah Company on July 15 sells merchandise on account to Sarasota Co. for $3100, terms 2/10, n/30. On July 20 Sarasota Co. ret
pickupchik [31]

Answer:

July 24 Cash $1470 Dr

              Discount allowed $30 Dr

                    Account Receivable $1500 Cr

Explanation:

The receipt of payment for accounts due will cause a credit to accounts receivable for that particular debtor along with a debit to cash as payment is received. However, as there were some sales returns, the outstanding amount in the accounts receivble account was sales less sales returns that is 3100 - 1600 = 1500.

The terms state 2/10, n/30 which means 2% cash discount is allowed if payment is made within 10 days of sale. The payment is made within 10 days, as July 24 falls under this period so cash received will be 1500 * 98% = 1470.

While Accounts recevables will be reduced by 1500. The difference of 30 is discount allowed and it is an expense and will be debitted.

101
d Discuss whether or not gold rings can carry out the functions of money. (8)
lana66690 [7]

Answer:

Money is called any element that works in a given territory as a method of exchange of wealth and as a reserve of value, that is, it can be exchanged between individuals for other goods, and that in turn can be accumulated by each individual to add to your personal wealth. In this context, almost any item that has been commonly accepted as having these characteristics can be considered money. However, there are circumstances in which, either due to their lack of storage practicality, or their high value in itself, certain elements escape this possibility. This is the case of a gold ring, whose excessively high value and the impossibility of its fractionation take away the possibility of being used as a method of exchange.

Gundy Company expects to produce 1,200,000 units of Product XX in 2017. Monthly production is expected to range from 80,000 to 1
mariarad [96]

Answer:

\left[\begin{array}{ccccc}-&units \: cost&V80,000&V100,000&V120,000\\DM&5&400,000&500,000&600,000\\DL&6&480,000&600,000&720,000\\Overhead&8&640,000&800,000&960,000\\Total Variable&19&1,520,000&1,900,000&2,280,000\\Depreciation&200,000&200,000&200,000&200,000\\Supervision&100,000&100,000&100,000&100,000\\Total Fixed&300,000&300,000&300,000&300,000\\Total Overhead&&1,820,000&2,200,000&2,580,000\\\end{array}\right]

Explanation:

We multiply the variable cost by each volume of production

for example direct materials 5 x 80,000 = 400,000

                                              5 x 100,000 = 500,000

                                              5 x 120,000 = 600,000

Then for the fixed cost:

notice the company expect to produce 1,200,000 units.

If fixed depreciation is $2 per unit then

1,200,000 x $2 = 2,400,000 depreciation per year.

we then divide this value by 12 to get the monthly fixed depreciation

2,400,000/12 = 200,000

Same procedure goes for supervision

1,200,000 units x $1 per unit = 1,200,000 per year

1,200,000/12 = 100,000 per month

Finally we add both, fixed and variable to et total overhead for the relevant range.
