10 PTS.<br> How can leading with love help to promote safe communities? (Opinion)
Lena [83]
Leading by love promotes a sense of unity, honestyand strength. Its a foundation a community can build on to help bring together people regardless of gender, religion , race, nationality or social class. By bringing people together it promotes positivity and it will help to raise awareness of the the factors that burden our community and make it unsafe. The way to change that is uniting through positivity and inviting everyone to be a part of change.Hate divides people. It has no place and when it spreads its like a wildfire that cant be extinguished affecting everyone.

How can figurative language help characterize a monster in a story?
Pachacha [2.7K]
Well for one, characterisation is how a writer chooses to reveal a characters personality in a story, through things like physical appearance (shiny hair, blue eyes, nice smile, ect.) and through virtues and faults (brave, attentive, smart - egotistical, bitter, evil.)

Figurative language is basically how you'd describe said chracterisations, through things like personification, hyperbole, metaphors, similes, ect.

So with that being said, figurative language can help characterise a monster by doing more than just saying it's a monster; figurative language can make it /feel/ like a monster to the reader. Figurative language can turn the monster '3-D' (for lack of better words), by saying it has long claws, stinky breath, vicious fangs, a horrifying growl, ect.

My favourite example of figurative language is actually in the childrens book "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak, because it uses simple figurative language. Maurice Sendak describes the wild things as so: "They roared their terrible roars and gnashed their terrible teeth and rolled their terrible eyes and showed their terrible claws.'

Anyway, I hope this helped !! :-)

30 POINTS
Anna11 [10]

Answer:

To be successful, it is essential to have ambition. Unfortunately however, ambition may not always be a good thing. ... When you not only utilise your ambition for personal success but for the success of others then you have a healthy dose of good ambition. Bad ambition is that drive to succeed at all costs.

Explanation:

A person cannot alter their ambition any more than they can alter any other character trait: having achieved one goal, the truly ambitious person soon formulates another at which to keep on
