<span>Find the slope of the line whose equation is </span>4y - 3x + 6 = 0<span>

First, get the equation into slope-intercept form, which is </span>y=mx+b.
<span>
Here's the math:

Subtract </span>6 from both sides

4y - 3x = -6

Add 3x to both sides

4y = 3x -6

Divide both sides by 4

y =  \frac{3}{4}x - \frac{6}{4}

Simplify

y = \frac{3}{4}x - \frac{3}{2}

The m in the equation is the slope, and m= \frac{3}{4}.

So, the answer is: C. 3/4. Hope this helps!

The slope-intercept form is y=mx+b so this what you do.
4y - 3x + 6 = 0
Add 3x and subtract 6 to both sides.
4y = 3x - 6
Divide the right side by 4.
y = 3/4x - 3/2
So the slope is 3/4.
I hope this helps love! :)

How to simplify please help

Okay, the image is a little tough to see, but I believe it looks something like this:

(5² -10 / 17 - 3 * 4) -1

The first step [remember PEMDAS] is parentheses

Next comes Exponents:

(25 - 10 / 17 - 3 * 4) -1

Then Multiplication:

(25 - 10 / 17 - 12) - 1

Then Division [which we can't do yet since it isn't fully simplified], so we skip to Addition... nothing again, then subtraction.

(15 / 5) - 1

Then we can divide:

(3) - 1

Then subtract!

2

The answer to your problem is 2.

Hope that helps!

Stephen can deliver 14 newspapers in 20 minutes. How many HOURS will it take him to deliver 131 newspaper
LiRa [457]

Answer:

approx. 3 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

14 newspapers in 20 minutes means he can deliver 42 newspapers an hour.

60/42 = 1.4285 newspapers per minute

131 x 1.4285 = 187.1335 minutes = 3.1188 hours
