Explain what you have learned about the imparfait tense, when it is used, and how it is different from the passé
Hunter-Best [27]

Answer:

The imparfait is used to emphasise the duration of an action in the past e.g I was waiting for the bus for 25 mins.

When 1 action is interupted by another action. The interupted action is the imperfect. e. i was doing my homework but my friend arrived.

When describing someone or something in the past .

The formation is drop the 'nous' and add ais , ais , ait , ions , iez and aient
