End behavior: f. As x -> 2, f(x) -> ∞; As x -> ∞, f(x) -> -∞

x-intercept: a. (3, 0)

Range: p. (-∞, ∞)

The range is the set of all possible y-values

Asymptote: x = 2

Transformation: l. right 2

What is the value of x if e3x+6=8
goldfiish [28.3K]

Answer:

x = 1/3 ln(2)

Step-by-step explanation:

e^(3x)+6=8

Subtract 6 from each side

e^(3x)+6-6=8-6

e^(3x) = 2

Take the natural log of each side

ln (e ^3x) = ln (2)

3x = ln(2)

Divide by 3

3x/3 = 1/3 ln(2)

x = 1/3 ln(2)

Javier has a basket of oranges and apples. The number of oranges is 2 more than twice the number of apples in the basket. The di
Vesna [10]
Hello!

Let's put this into a system of equations and have a represent the apples and o represent the oranges.

o=2a+2
0.5o-0.5a=4

Since we can already so what o equals (2a+2) we will substitute it into the second equation and solve for a.

0.5(2a+2)-0.5a=4
1a+1-0.5a=4
1.5a+1=4
1.5a=3
a=2

Now that we know the value of a will put a into the first equation to find o.

o=2(2)+2
o=4+2
o=6

There were 6 oranges and 2 apples.

I hope this helps!

Mr. snorkel drove 169 miles in 3 h 30 min. find the rate in feet per minute
AVprozaik [17]

169 miles * 5280 ft/ mile = 892320 ft

3 hours * 60 minutes/1 hr = 180 minutes

3 hrs 30 minutes = 180 minutes + 30 minutes = 210 minutes

169 miles/ 3 hrs 30 minutes    = 892320 ft/ 210 minutes = 4249.1 ft/ minutes
