Answer:

<em>Similarity doesn't changes angle measures</em>

  • ∠U = 56°, ∠U' = 3x - 16
  • ∠U = ∠U'

a) 3x - 16 = 56 ⇒ 3x = 72 ⇒ x = 24°

b) ∠T = x + 46 = 24 + 46 = 70°

c) <u>Scale factor:</u>

  • k = S'T'/ST = 19/57 = 1/3

<u>Find y using known sides and scale factor:</u>

  • U'V'/UV = 1/3
  • (y + 4)/63 = 1/3
  • y + 4 = 21
  • y = 21 - 4
  • y = 17

I need the answer and the work! <br> you have to find n.
zloy xaker [14]

Tell you what I'll do:  I'll show you the work, for two of them.
Then, knowing how to do it, you'll find the answers.
Deal ?

#1). n + (-13) = -12

Remove the parentheses
on the left side:                     n - 13 = -12

Add  13  to each side:           n        =    1

================================

#3).                        -15 + n  =  3

Add  15  to each side:     n  =  18

OK.  Look those over, understand how they're done, then TAKE IT !

Kisachek [45]
Hi,

From the picture you can see how 5x and 4x add up to 90°.

4x + 5x = 90°
9x = 90°
x = 10°

Hope this helps! If my answer was not clear enough or you’d like further explanation please let me know. Also, English is not my first language, so I’m sorry for any mistake.
