What is Cecliy’s response when “Ernest” asks if she will marry him? Question 3 options: She says yes because they’re already eng
olga nikolaevna [1]

In the Importance of Being Ernest, Cecily's response when "Ernest" asks is she will marry him is the first one: She says yes because they're already engaged.

"Ernest" actually is surprised to find out that Cecily thinks they are already engaged to be married and not only that, but she reveals that her sustained fascination with "uncle's Jack brother" had moved her to invent a romance between herself and Ernest.

Cecily had created an entire relationship with love letters included (that she herself had written), a ring, a broken engagement, and a reconciliation. All chronically told in her personal diary.

After reading the story, did you feel that a situation like the one in “The Cold Equations” could actually happen? Explain your
kiruha [24]
I think it could happen because the girl (don't remember their names sorry) snuck onto the ship where she wasn't supposed to go. Obviously if you do something wrong, no necessarily sneaking onto a spaceship, there are always consequences. The man did try to save her life, but there wasn't much he could do because it was too late for both of them to survive.

Vwhat occupation did the writer of beowulf most likely hold?
Sergio [31]

The occupation the writer of beowulf most likely hold is  a Geat hero, aids Hrothgar, the king of the Danes.

Because Old English epic poem Beowulf. This piece of Old English literature is among the most significant and frequently translated ones. Scholars disagree on the composition date; the only dating that is confirmed is for the text. The writer is referred to as the "Beowulf poet" by literature. In the sixth century, paganism still prevailed in Scandinavia.

Beowulf, a Geat hero, aids Hrothgar, the king of the Danes, whose mead hall in Heorot has been attacked by the monster Grendel. Grendel's mother attacks the hall after Beowulf kills him, but she is ultimately victorious. Beowulf returns to Geatland after his victory and takes the throne of the Geats. Beowulf kills a dragon fifty years later, but not before suffering a fatal wound.
