I think the 1st amendment helps the most because it gives people the right to follow any religion. It also protects americans from what used to happen to slaves/prisoners. So i feel it is important to be able to choose what religion you follow. This also protects others from people being like CATHLIC IS TRUE. NO CHRISTIANITY IS etc. this is very important so you dont get pressurd into something you dont want to do. this is why i feel the 1st ammendment protects american the most.
