Ok so first you need to subtract 7.25 from both sides

-2.25=-0.5x

Then divide by -0.5

Which gives you

x=4.5

Hope this helps.

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the rules of exponents

• a^{-m} ⇔ \frac{1}{a^{m} }

• a^{0} = 1

• a^{m} × a^{n} ⇔ a^{(m+n)}

Given

(a)

8^{-2} = \frac{1}{8^{2} }

(b)

\frac{1}{3^{-3} } = 3³

(c)

6^{-12} × 6^{8} × 6^{0}

= 6^{(-12+8)} × 1

= 6^{-4}

= \frac{1}{6^{4} }
