You must use this formula: A= P(1+r) power of t
P=starting price
r= rate in decimal form
t= number of years

Since you own the jersey for 1025, that will be P.
The rate is 14% or 0.14.
The number of years is calculated by subtracted 2028 and 2022 (today’s date), which is 6.
A=1025(1.14) power of 6. Plug that in a calculator and you have your answer. You may need to round to the nearest hundredth, the question does not specify.

What is the lateral surface area of the prism below?
marysya [2.9K]
Check the picture below

so, the lateral, sides, area, is just the area of the sides, well, the sides are just those three rectangles

now, the rectangle is the middle is length = 25 as well as the others, but we dunno the width, say width  = c

\bf c=\sqrt{16^2+12^2}\implies c=\sqrt{256+144}\implies c=\sqrt{400}\implies c=20\\\\
-------------------------------\\\\
\textit{lateral area}\implies (25\cdot 16)+(25\cdot 12)+(25\cdot 20)
\\\\\\

Muriel says she has written a system of two linear equations that has an infinite number of solutions. One of the equations of t
Vanyuwa [196]
An infinite number of solutions means a coincident line...it is the same line
3y = 2x - 9...divide by 3
y = 2/3x - 3...hmm...same line as answer choice b....they are coincident lines and have infinite solutions

X-2/x-1=x+4/2x+2 show work
makvit [3.9K]

Answer:

x = (i sqrt(7))/4 - 3/4 or x = -(i sqrt(7))/4 - 3/4

Step-by-step explanation:

Solve for x:

x - 1 - 2/x = 3 x + 2

Bring x - 1 - 2/x together using the common denominator x:

(x^2 - x - 2)/x = 3 x + 2

Multiply both sides by x:

x^2 - x - 2 = x (3 x + 2)

Expand out terms of the right hand side:

x^2 - x - 2 = 3 x^2 + 2 x

Subtract 3 x^2 + 2 x from both sides:

-2 x^2 - 3 x - 2 = 0

Divide both sides by -2:

x^2 + (3 x)/2 + 1 = 0

Subtract 1 from both sides:

x^2 + (3 x)/2 = -1

Add 9/16 to both sides:

x^2 + (3 x)/2 + 9/16 = -7/16

Write the left hand side as a square:

(x + 3/4)^2 = -7/16

Take the square root of both sides:

x + 3/4 = (i sqrt(7))/4 or x + 3/4 = -(i sqrt(7))/4

Subtract 3/4 from both sides:

x = (i sqrt(7))/4 - 3/4 or x + 3/4 = -(i sqrt(7))/4

Subtract 3/4 from both sides:

Answer:  x = (i sqrt(7))/4 - 3/4 or x = -(i sqrt(7))/4 - 3/4
