Hello. You did not show the passage to which this question refers, which makes it impossible for this question to be answered accurately. However, I will try to help you in the best possible way.

It is only possible to know, in fact, how the passage develops the central idea of the text, after reading it. However, we can affirm that to develop this idea, the excerpt must address the main idea within a situation, reinforcing the importance and applicability of this subject in practice and making the reader recognize it and be able to reflect on it.

Lilit [14]
The conducted experiment of Horselenberg et al. (2003) is a replication of the Kassin and Kiechel (1996) findings. They used the classic computer crash paradigm wherein they falsely accused the participants of touching the forbidden keys and used a pseudo-eyewitness who insisted they saw the participants touched the forbidden keys.  With all the variables they explored: individual difference in compliance, suggestibility, fantasy proneness, dissociation, and cognitive failures; their findings suggest that only fantasy proneness has a relationship with false confessions. The result of this experiment shows that false confessions really occur; and that it is easy to make the participants confess because of the pseudo-eyewitness as evidence that made them internalize they really had touched the forbidden keys that resulted to the computer crash.

5. Write a short (4-5 sentence) paragraph (on any topic) that includes examples of metadiscourse, and then RE-write the paragrap
Reptile [31]

Answer:

Elaborate, repetitive and layered answers are meta discourse

Explanation:

Meta-discourse : Discussion about a discussion instead of a compact and concise way of conversing. It is a philosophical method of elaborating a topic so as to create a repetitive explanation.

Example of a meta discourse-

Cats are the best pets. Cats can be friendly and moody. Cats like to eat fishes. Cats are friendly upon giving food. Humans love to get friends with cats. They offer food to the cat.

(The paragraph is repetitive and explains the same lines)

It can be re written in the following manner:

"Cats are friendly pets who love to eat fishes"
