Answer:

A.) It symbolizes that Ozymandias's kingdom has crumbled with time.

Explanation:

"Ozymandias" is a poem written by Percy Shelley, an English romantic poet. She started writing it in 1817. It is said that she was inspired by the statue of Rameses II (in fragments) that the British museum acquired.

The poem clearly shows that there was once a powerful race in Egypt, but has been forgotten with time. The stone talked about Ozymandias being the "King of Kings" and how glorious his city was. However, it has already crumbled with time because it is no longer there. There were only a few evidence of it, such as the fragments found.

What are examples of figurative language in The Giver with page numbers?
Degger [83]

Answer:In The Giver, the used of what they referred to as "precise language" is strictly enforced at all times. So, needless to say, the first use of figurative language does not happen until much later, after Jonas meets the Giver. I'm sure that you may have noticed that I referenced the first instance of figurative language on the Theme and Structure page. The first instance of figurative language in The Giver, is used by the titular character of the book. It is used when the Giver tries to explain how them memories burden him by using the example of going downhill on a sled in deep snow. Although, the example is lost on Jonas as he has no idea what any of those things are. Another use of figurative language in The Giver is from page 125-126, when Jonas recalls the memory that the Giver had shared with him that day. He describes the place very vividly., and the figurative language is very slight, as there is not much in this nook, but it does convey to you the imagery presents in the chapter in an easier manner.

What type of conflict does the reader find in the story? mice and men
Novay_Z [31]

The reader sees that there is a great deal of external conflict, especially between Lennie and various people such a Curley's wife, whom he ultimately kills accidentally. George, in his trying to take care of Lennie, often intervenes in the "man vs man" conflicts because Lennie's limited abilities causes him to miss the nuances of life among groups. George does have some internal conflict, since he has to decide whether or not to kill Lennie. He makes the decision to "put him out of his misery" which has not happened yet but would be "external" if he had to face the "mob" after Curley's wife's death.
