∵ At x = 10, m(x) = 3

∴ The slope = \frac{3-2}{10-8}=\frac{1}{2}

∴ a = \frac{1}{2}

- Substitute it in the form of the function

- To find b substitute x and m(x) in the function by (8 , 2)
