The Articles of Confederation were weak, but they helped to make the U.S. stronger. We would not have the Constitution if we did not have what previously did not work. The Articles of Confederation played a fundamental part in the origins of the United States. We had to set up The Articles of Confederation to realize we needed something stronger.
