Write each sentence, adding a subordinate clause
juin [17]

Answer:

1. The car skidded uncontrollably

2. The beast slept soundly until morning.

3. Austin played outside until the streetlights came on.

Explanation:

An independent clause is a clause that can stand alone as a sentence (i.e., it expresses a complete thought). A dependent clauses (or subordinate clause) is one that cannot stand alone as a complete sentence (i.e., it does not express a complete thought). In this cause, "I like to go to the house of my friend" can stand alone and has a subject and a verb. The same goes for "I will always believe." Hope this helps

What is the theme of not waving but drowning, by stevie smith?
erastova [34]

Not Waving but Drowning Theme of Death. You'd think that there couldn't be a clearer distinction than the one between life and death, but "Not Waving but Drowning" goes out of its way to muddy the water, so to speak. The focus, after all, is a talking corpse who just won't shut up even though the living can't hear him.
