Australia’s famous outback is the large desert that dominates the continent. Describe this tropical desert climate and desert bi
sammy [17]

Desert

Located in AustraliaÂ’s outback region, in the desert and steppe climate zones.

Although plant life is very rare, small microclimates can and do support some types of small vegetation. Examples include tough, spiny grasses (like spinifex and porcupine

Hot and dry desert animals include small nocturnal carnivores, including mourning wheat ears, horned vipers (hot deserts), and ground squirrels (cold deserts).

Tropical and subtropical desert climates

Located in a broad belt extending from Australia’s west coast through the vast interior and curving down to the south coast, it, along with the steppe climate, is known as the outback or bush.

Not only are these regions the hottest and driest, the lack of any ground cover and clouds create some of the coldest summer, night-time temperatures.

Average annual precipitation never exceeds 10 in.

In the hottest months, daytime temperatures usually exceed 100°F, and northwestern Australia is particularly hot —maximum temperatures of 100º to 120ºF have been recorded for as many as 160 consecutive days. In the coolest months, average daytime temperatures only reach 50° to 60°F, and freezing temperatures can be reached at night.

Why is sahara considered a natural boundary??
Tju [1.3M]
The Sahara desert is vast, large, dry, and empty of resources. This means people/armies wouldn't walk through there because it's basically suicide. This acts as a "natural barrier" because nobody would cross the desert in the first place.

Hope this helps!
