Answer:

d = 5t + 20

Step-by-step explanation:

d represents the distance and t represents the time, in hours

Let he equation which model this situation ⇒ d = a t + b

Where a and b are constant.

Let the gas station is the starting point

So, at gas station t = 0 , d = 20

∴ 20 = 0 * a + b ⇒ b = 20

When he reaches home 2 hours later notes that he has traveled 30 miles.

and with substituting with b = 20

∴ 30 = 2 * a + 20

2a = 30 - 20 = 10  ⇒ a = 10/2 = 5

∴ d = 5t + 20

The equations that can be used to model this situation <u>d = 5t + 20</u>

What is the inverse of log(6)
crimeas [40]

inverse of log(6) is 1.28

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

We have  , a expression log(6) . Let y = log(6) . We need to find inverse of y .

Let inverse of y be y^{-1 . So we know that multiplication of y and i'ts inverse will be 1 i.e.

⇒ y(y^{-1}) = 1

⇒ \frac{yy^{-1}}{y} = \frac{1}{y}

⇒ y^{-1} = \frac{1}{y}

but y = log6

⇒ y^{-1} = \frac{1}{Log(6)}                     { log6 = 0.778  }

⇒ y^{-1} = \frac{1}{0.778}

⇒ y^{-1} =1.28

Therefore, inverse of log(6) is 1.28

when given you an angle in degree and the radius, how do you calcculate the arc length? please use an example to support. show w
Nadya [2.5K]

The arc length formula is S = theta * r.

Theta must be in radians so you take the degree and multiply is by pi/180.

Then take the radians and multiply by the radius to get the arc length.
