To solve both of these expressions, we want to add or subtract from left to right.

For the first one, we can rewrite it as:

8-6-9
=2-9
=-7

The second one we can rewrite as:

5-7+9+8-4
=-2+9+8-4
=7+8-4
=15-4
=11

Alex787 [66]

The total lease cost paid by Dave is $925.50

Equation

An equation is an expression used to show the relationship between two or more variables and numbers.

The total lease cost = Deposit + License fees + Cost

The total lease cost = $245.50 + $575.00 + $105.00 = $925.50

The total lease cost paid by Dave is $925.50

Suppose that 2 ≤ f '(x) ≤ 4 for all values of x. What are the minimum and maximum possible values of
Vesna [10]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

By the Mean Value Theorem, there is at least one number, c, in the interval (1,6) such that

f'(c) = [f(6) - f(1)]/ (6 - 1)

So, f(6) - f(1) = 5f'(c).

Since 2 ≤ f'(c) ≤ 4, 10 ≤ 5f'(c) ≤ 20

So, f(6) - f(1) is between 10 and 20.
