Hey you boy, your pa I reckon almost lost all he owned and became to the point of starvation because of the British, sipping there tea is some mansion getting your pa's money without them working. I bet you boy you are a honest hard working lad. Yet these tyrants lead us like slaves. I know you must of heard the stories of our victories and the brave men following Washington to glory and honor, even till death. Hear, I tell you a real story my lad, I was there with my own eyes. There was some 3,000 red coats, I dare say, down some hill in Massachusetts. Our plan was to ambush the British from the top of the hill, to have the high ground, with our power of some 1,000 men. We waited and attacked, I could have only seen red all across me. They charged up many times, that I could not even count. The battle lasted for days. Then when there was another charge, we had to retreat and fall back in a hurry because no matter how good of a plan we kept getting over run, even thought we killed half of them with only 500 dead of ours. That is why we need you boy, to join the fight and create independence for our nation to drive back the infidels, back where they belong in there fancy palaces.

Why did the Cold War start in Europe and how did it involve and impact developing and newly independent nations
S_A_V [24]
The Cold War threatened the independence of new nations. Since the Soviet Union and the United States were competing for political influence, many newly independent nations were subject to take over either by the Soviet Union or the USA. However, there was also a positive impact to some newly independent countries because the two antagonists of the Cold War would support whatever country they saw fit. Therefore, some new countries gained support from larger nations.

This is just one of the many possible answers, since so many nations were affected differently. All the same, I hope this helps. :)
