Explain how a compromise was reached relating to the representation of people and the representation of states in Congress.
likoan [24]

During 1787 different delegates of the government joined forces at the Independence Hall, to reach to a historical agreement. Named after Connecticut delegates Roger Sherman and Oliver Ellsworth, the Connecticut Compromise stated that the United States was going to have a dual system of representation in the Congress.

This is to say that in the Senate, all the states were going to have the same number of representatives. Meanwhile in the House of Representatives each state would have a different amount of members, depending on the size of its own population.

Does anybody know why capitalism a free-market economy????
oee [108]
Well, capitalism is not always a free-market economy.

A typical capitalism is a free-market economy, which means that the market itself (buyer and sellers) can decide the prizes and terms of services.

In capitalism, the capital is privately, and not state owned. But capitalism can also come in other forms: of social democracy with partially free market, and with other forms which include corporations having controls over the market.
