1. The sun transforms nuclear energy into heat and light energy.

2. Chemical reaction is a chemical substance that can be transformed to other forms of energy. As an example, when a fuel is burned the chemical energy of molecular oxygen is converted to heat, and the same is the case with digestion of food metabolized in a biological organism.

Cancer cells Multiple Choice divide uncontrollably and then die. are impossible to grow in culture. are particularly sensitive t
Brut [27]

Despite the fact that their numerous abnormalities would ordinarily make them great targets for apoptosis, cancer cells even avoid programmed cell death. As cancer progresses, cells cross the borders of healthy tissue and metastasis (spread) to other locations throughout the body.

Cancer cells:

  • First and foremost, cancer is a complex illness, meaning that several faulty genes are implicated. It is not the case that one faulty gene causes a cell to develop into a malignant cell.
  • Metastasis refers to the spread of a cancer.
  • Uncontrolled growth is a given if there is a constitutively active RTK growth factor. However, the cell has additional defense systems to prevent such unchecked proliferation. If nothing is done, the cell will undergo apoptosis and perish. The development of cancer would not exist.

Some of the typical characteristics of cancer cells include -

  • Because they are anchorage independent, cancer cells can grow in both semi-solid and suspension mediums.
  • Its proliferation is unaffected by contact with neighboring cells, or contact inhibition.
  • Layers of cancerous cells are formed.
  • Cancerous cells have a variety of shapes.
  • Telomerase is expressed by tumor cells.
  • They do not go through apoptosis, have damaged cell cycle regulatory genes, and proliferate uncontrollably.
  • For them to grow, angiogenesis is necessary.

What is the Taxonomic System and why is it important? plz answer for 50 pts
____ [38]

Answer:

Taxonomic system of classification can be described as the method of classification on the basis of which organisms are classified into more and more inclusive groups. The taxonomic system of classification was devised by Carolus Linnaeus.

This system of classification is important because organisms can be grouped on the basis of their similarities. The organisms which are more closely related in terms of structure and function are more closely related to one another. Hence, it helps to group organisms on the basis of their similarities. It helps scientists to organize the diversity of life.
