Answer:

The author would show Scout behaving like a lady during Aunt Alexandra's circle, even though she hates doing so:

* to demonstrate empathy for Aunt Alexandra

* to show Scout is growing and maturing

Explanation:

In chapter 24 of "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee, the character of Scout has a turning point in her personality after seeing some realities that she had ignored so far from the word of "ladies" she had always been a tomboy and admired the behavior and interaction between man for considering it more honest but when she saw how her AUnt interacted as a lady and defend what she believed in she took her as a role model and decided to act like a lady.

Answer:

To demonstrate empathy for Aunt Alexandra.

Explanation:

The reason for this is that Aunt Alexandra is a traditional woman who cares about what other people say about her. She shows she cares about the situation, and the involvement in it.

(Hope that makes sense and it helps <3)

Summary of lottery by Patricia Wood
AlekseyPX
Perry's IQ is only 76, but he's not stupid. His grandmother taught him everything he needs to know to survive: She taught him to write things down so he won't forget them. She taught him to play the lottery every week. And, most important, she taught him whom to trust. When Gram dies, Perry is left orphaned and bereft at the age of thirty-one. Then his weekly Washington State Lottery ticket wins him 12 million dollars, and he finds he has more family than he knows what to do with. Peopled with characters both wicked and heroic who leap off the pages, Lottery is a deeply satisfying, gorgeously rendered novel about trust, loyalty, and what distinguishes us as capable.

How did orson welles create suspense and excitement with his radio broadcast war of the worlds
vazorg [7]
Here is the answer: At the very start of the radio drama, Orson Welles had repeatedly said that the said drama is a science fiction. The sci-fi radio drama was said to cause mass panic because of its realistic script. Orson Welles also believed there might have been a small percentage of the population that was panicking. It was also stated in New York Times, that people were in a mass panic because of the drama itself. However, C.E Hopper had proven that no such thing had happened.
