Answer:

y_p(x) =c_1e^{-6x} + c_2e^{-3x}+ e^x + 4x^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

y" + 9y' + 18y = 24x^2 + 40x + 8 + 12e^x ---- (1)

y_p(x) = e^x + 4x^2

Required

The general solution of y(x)

Let

y = e^{nx} be the trial solution of (1)

So:

y" + 9y' + 18y = 0 becomes

n^2 + 9n + 18 = 0

Expand

n^2 + 6n+3n + 18 = 0

Factorize

n(n + 6)+3(n + 6) = 0

Factor out n + 6

(n + 6)(n + 3) = 0

Split

n +6 = 0\ or\ n + 3 = 0

Solve for n

n =-6\ or\ n = -3

So:

y = e^{nx} becomes:

y = c_1e^{-6x} + c_2e^{-3x}

y_p(x) = e^x + 4x^2 becomes

y_p(x) =c_1e^{-6x} + c_2e^{-3x}+ e^x + 4x^2

Where: c_1 and c_2 are arbitary constants

Select the correct answer from the drop-down menu. Find the product. The product of 2/5a2x and -1/5x2a is
valentinak56 [21]

Answer: -\frac{2}{25}a^{3}x^{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

1. The problem asked for the product of \frac{2}{5}a^{2}x and -\frac{1}{5}x^{2}a, therefore, you must mutliply them, as you can see below:

2. According the exponents propertiess, when you have a multiplication of two powers that has the equal base, you must add the exponents. THerefore, you have the following result:

 (\frac{2}{5}a^{2}x)(-\frac{1}{5}x^{2}a)=-\frac{2}{25}a^{3}x^{3}

A circle has a circumference of 6. it has an arc of length 1/3
Maksim231197 [3]

Answer:

Ф = 10°

Step-by-step explanation:

Regarding arc length, s:  s = r·Ф, where Ф is the central angle in radians and r is the radius.

We need to find the central angle, Ф, in this problem.

We know that C = circumference = 6, and that this leads to r = 6/π.

Substituting 6/π for r and 1/3 for s in Ф = s / r, we get:

Ф in radians = 1/3  /  (6/π), or  Ф = π/18 rad.

                                                                           π         180°

Converting this into degrees, we multiply    ------ by ----------

                                                                           18        π rad

obtaining:  Ф = 10°
