Hurricanes are one of the devastating storms that commonly occurs in Florida that causes damage to the coastal areas. This damage is caused because of the improper construction of houses, that cannot withstand the force of the extreme wind that blows during the time of occurrence of a hurricane. The hurricanes that have a wind speed of more than 75 miles per hour are very violent and destructive and are often accompanied by heavy rainfall resulting in a flood in the coastal region.
Thus, the buildings and the houses must be constructed in such a way that they should be resistant to the strong wind force.
