The patient presented in the question above is showing signs of the third stage of Alzheimer's.
This stage is one of the most serious forms of the disease, where the patient is resistant to performing daily tasks such as bathing and dressing, urinary and fecal incontinence, difficulty eating, progressive motor disability, cannot recognize close relatives and may even even presenting echolalia (the involuntary repetition of words or phrases spoken by another person).
