You can prove that the quadrilateral is a rectangle by finding out if the quadrilateral has opposite parallel sides, opposite congruent sides, and four 90 degree angles. You find out if the quadrilateral has opposite parallel sides by finding each sides slope(y2-y1)/(x2-x1). You find out if the quadrilateral has opposite congruent sides by finding each sides distance(distance formula=(y2-y1)squared+(x2-x1)squared, and that<------ is inside a radical. You find out if the quadrilateral has four 90 degree angles by seeing if each opposite sides slopes are reciprocals. Hope this helps, I'm typing this In the middle of doing A.P. history HW, so it might be kinda hard to understand.

Please help –8 = c /9 c=
kramer

Hey there! I'm happy to help!

We want to get c all by itself on one side of the equation. Usually variables go on the left side, so let's flip the equation around.

c/9=-8

If we multiply c/9 by 9, the 9 will cancel out because if you divide by 9 and then multiply by 9 it just equals 1. We can do this to isolate the c, but whatever you do to one side of the equation, you have to do to the other. So, we multiply both sides by 9.

c/9×9=-8×9

c=-72

Have a wonderful day! :D

You open a bank account with $100 and deposit 15 every week. Create an equation to model the total amount of money,y, in dollars
Charra [1.4K]

Answer:

Y = 15x+ 100

x = 10 months

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Initial deposit = $100

Weakly deposit = $15

Solution:

We need to create an equation where total amount is y is equal to initial deposit plus multiplication of weakly deposit and month x, so the equation is written as.

Y = 15x+ 100 ---------(1)

Where:

Y = Total amount

x = Number of months.

Second thing we need to find the month for y = $250

Now, we substitute y = 250 in equation 1.

250 = 15x+ 100

15x=250-100

15x =150

x=\frac{150}{15}

x = 10 months

Therefore, we need to required 10 months for $250.
