Read the excerpt from chapter 10 of Animal Farm. Then there came a moment when the first shock had worn off and when, in spite o

f everything—in spite of their terror of the dogs, and of the habit, developed through long years, of never complaining, never criticising, no matter what happened—they might have uttered some word of protest. But just at that moment, as though at a signal, all the sheep burst out into a tremendous bleating of— "Four legs good, two legs BETTER! Four legs good, two legs BETTER! Four legs good, two legs BETTER!" Which statement best explains why this passage is an example of irony? The sheep, which are four-legged animals, are chanting about how two legs are better. The sheep partake in a chant that they do not actually agree with about two legs being better. The sheep, after years of inaction, decide to take a stand about two legs being better than four. The sheep are stating that the pigs walk on two legs, which is an inaccurate description.

Radda [10]

Answer: Grandpa: 60 Granddaughter: 6

Explanation: When I first saw this, I noticed you can not get one solid whole number with a number like 54, so I rounded it up to 60, because 10 percent of 60 is 6. It IS possible for someone to be 5.4, but with age, not a lot of people care to go down to the decimal point. I then checked the other part. 60 IS 54 years more than 6, so 60 is correct.

Choose the sentence that is written correctly.
ioda
The answer is B because it puts a coma in the correct spot to pause between the first half of the sentence and the second. The others either randomly placed a period, using the wrong word choices, or made it a run on sentence. :)
