When Abraham Lincoln was elected president,
melamori03 [73]

The correct answer is D) Did not want to end slavery.

When Abe Lincoln won the presidential election in 1860, his goal was not to end slavery. Rather, Lincoln was more focused on preventing the spread of this new institution to new territories and states. He never claimed to want to get rid of slavery in states where it already existed. Despite this reassurance, Southern states feared that Lincoln would try to end the institution everywhere in the US. This is why South Carolina started the secession movement in December of 1860.

ANTONII [103]
The truth was being hidden by U.S. government once selections concerning the war were created behind the closed doors and falsehoods were discharged into the media. Once the Americans recognized that not even the rationale for the involvement in Vietnam was true they felt betrayed. They accomplished that their government wasn't the simplest in the world which Yankee troopers were sent to Vietnam to not facilitate south Vietnamese however to pursue their own interests.
The truth was being obscured by media once they showed a photograph of Nguyen Ngoc Leo with none further info making outrage among Americans and wave of protest against the war. And its famed that any text is taken out of context becomes a pretext same may be applied to images.
Finally, the reality is being obscured even currently. initially approached the thesis as a bit of writing that will demonstrate however media influenced the war as a result of there's a general agreement that media did so have an excellent influence in swaying public opinion on the war that at the tip basically helped lose the war.
It's accepted that media compete for a primary role in losing the war that while not media the govt would be able to send a lot of troops or drop a lot of bombs and also the war would be won.

Ymorist [56]

Answer:

Explanation:
