This isn't an English Question but...
What you do first is find the LCD (Least Common Denominator)
You do this by finding the factors of 16 and seeing if they correspond with two.
So you're factors are, (1,16) (2,8) (4,4)
So the LCD is 2. You would then make each fraction over two. Since 1/2 is already over 2 you would make 5/16 over two by dividing by 8.
That gives you .347 or 347/1000
Then you would add each whole number, 24 + 2. This gives you 26 and then add the decimel. 26.347
There is probably a simpler way but here's mine.

What is significant about the last sentence of the novel Why?
Allisa [31]

The last sentence of the novel or an epilogue reveals whether the author views the sequence of events in this story to be tragic, humorous, triumphant, ironic, or even ambiguous.

The most crucial portion of a chapter is its conclusion because it (often) determines the direction in which your book will take. It could be a cliffhanger, a breakdown of emotions, or just a simple item to reassure the reader.

It's at this point that they know their patience has paid off. It is frequently utilized to resolve any unresolved issues and reveal the destinies of the story's characters.

After the main events of the novel have occurred, an epilogue is always set at some point in the future. It can also be used to allude to the following book in a series, especially in genre fiction.

Where do details about the inspections immigrants faced best fit in a presentation about the experience of coming to America? in
Deffense [45]

Answer:

The details about the inspections immigrants faced best fit in a presentation about the experience of coming to America:

B. in a discussion of the experiences immigrants faced while going through Ellis Island.

Explanation:

Ellis Island was an immigrant station between the years of 1892 and 1954. Immigrants who had just arrived in America were supposed to be inspected in Ellis Island, undergoing examinations and interviews. Some got so nervous they were not even able to answer the questions. With that in mind, if we were to talk about the details of those inspections, the best place to do it would be in a discussion about the immigrants' experiences in Ellis Island.
