If a reader wants to evaluate a text, which is the best question to ask while reading it?

D. What are the goals of the text, and what elements help achieve those goals?

Asking what the goals of texts are and the surrounding elements that help to achieve them is the best question due to it analyzes the main intention of the author's text.

When it comes to evaluating a text, its goals and elements are the main tools to consider since they construct, develop and reveal the author's core message.

The option is (D).

It is obvious the first question would be what is the text about, what does the author try to convey and how does he presents the facts to manage his goals.

Left

It's never going to be A. The spirits have worked all night to convince him of the exact opposite.

B: He doesn't think about other people and their values. Those whom he decides to make his friends already have those values (Fred, the Old Man who was collecting for Charity, Fred's Wife, Belle) or those who are in need of his generosity (which he will freely give and always hide where it came from)

C: Answer

D: He might do this later on, but for the present, we are more concerned about Scrooge the man, not Scrooge the benefactor.

Second

The quotation from Genesis talks about the penalty that God has inflicted on Adam because he and Eve ate the fruit from the forbidden tree. The penalty is not only severe, it is very complex in both origin and consequences. In short, Adam is doomed to a life of toil and misery.

In as you like it, the winter's wind is shown to be a cold devil. (In my part of the country (Western Canada) the speaker was talking about an east wind. There is nothing colder more penetrating than an east wind.) The wind is part of what we inherited from Adam.

I think the answer is clearly D

Third

By now, you should be able to answer this yourself. I could leave the whole thing to you, but I'll be generous enough to offer 3 choices. You pick one.

1. Oh a wonderful pudding ... Bob's thought is that it was the best thing that came out of their happy marriage.

2. Everyone had something to say about it. Keep reading.

3. Then all the cratchet family gathered around the hearth.

Those 3 and any others that you think may do. The whole scene is one of family and togetherness. Not an easy chore to choose. And if you have a choice, use it.

Right

You have to pick man against nature. He' in a burning building. What else but nature could create a runnaway fire.

Character vs. Self. He makes note of the fact that he should not be in the burning building.

Read the final stanza. What does the sound of this rhyme scheme create? a feeling of surprise and unexpected rhymes a feeling of
jeka57 [31]

This question is missing the stanza. I've found the complete question online. It is the following:

Read the final stanza. What does the sound of this

rhyme scheme create?

Though I am old with wandering

Through hollow lands and hilly lands,

I will find out where she has gone,

And kiss her lips and take her hands:

And walk among long dappled grass,

And pluck till time and times are done,

The silver apples of the moon,

The golden apples of the sun.

- "The Song of Wandering Aengus,"

William Butler Yeats

A. a feeling of surprise and unexpected rhymes

B. a feeling of chaos and messiness

C. a feeling that everything is repeating

D. a feeling of calm and an expected ending

Answer:

The rhyme scheme creates:

D. a feeling of calm and an expected ending

Explanation:

When we pay attention to the last word of each line, we see that there is a broken pattern to the way they rhyme. The rhymes are interspersed, but even that logic is often unobserved. "Moon", for instance, does not rhyme with any other word. This creates an interesting effect on readers. We learn to expect something, but are surprised to read something else.

Now, when we pay attention to the mood conveyed by the speaker, we can sense calmness. What is described, and the way the speaker describes it, is filled with a sense of certainty. He knows he will meet his loved one, even if he is old. He knows there will be peace and happiness once he finds her.

What are 3 things you learned about the process or about yourself as a designer?
AleksandrR [38]

Well, I believe I could answer this question since I am a graphic designer. Just remember to rephrase this a bit please.

1. As a designer, I have learned that your work doesn't speak for itself, you do. You must show/tell people about your work and how you feel about it.

2. Remember your "Why?". When your at the point of almost giving up, think about the purpose of the project or design.

3. Ask for help. When you need it, always ask for help
