Answer: D. (4, 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

When we have a reflection over a line, the perpendicular distance to that line is invariant.

Then, if we have the point

(-7, 4) and we have a reflection over the line x = -3

The distance between the x component and the line is:

I -7 - (-3)I = 4

Then the reflected point will also be at a distance of 4 units to the line x = 3, and this is at the point x = 1.

Then the new point is (1, 4)

Now we do a reflection over the line x = y.

This type of reflection just changes the x-component by the y-component, and the y-component by the x-component.

Then the new point will be (4, 1)

Then the correct option is D.

From the graph; calculate: E=
Ket [755]

Answer:

c) 7π cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The length of an arc (s) is related to its central angle (θ) and the radius of the circle (r) by ...

... s = rθ . . . . . . . . . θ in radians

Here, the central angle measures are given in "grads". There are 400 grads in a circle, so 200 grads in π radians. To convert grads to radians, we multiply the number of grads by π/(200g).

Then the lengths of the arcs are ...

... arc AB = (20 cm)·(50g·(π/(200g))) = 5π cm

... arc BC = (10 cm)·(40g·(π/(200g))) = 2π cm

E = arc AB + arc BC = 5π cm + 2π cm = 7π cm

The ladder will reach 122 ft up the building.

The 120 feet of the extended ladder, since it will be leaning against the building, will be the hypotenuse of the right triangle. x will be the height from the top of the fire truck to the point where the ladder hits the building. 75° is the angle the ladder will make with the fire truck.

We have an angle, the side opposite the angle, and the hypotenuse. Opposite/hypotenuse is the ratio for sine, so we set up our equation as such:

x/120 = sin 75

Multiply both sides by 120:
120(x/120) = 120*sin 75
x = 120*sin 75
x ≈116

However, this is just from the top of the fire truck to the point where the ladder hits the building. We still add the 6 feet from the top of the truck to the ground. 116+6 = 122.
