11. true / false Today, scientists use genetic similarities between species to help
Alex777 [14]

Answer:

True.

Explanation:

In genetics, genetic similarities indicate the actual species. It also helps to identify the relationship or similarities between different species.

A physical character or structure can't be a measurement process of classifying any species as related to other species.

Such as Chimps is 90% genetically similar to human, but they not identical in physical appearance.

So, at present, scientists use genetic similarities between species to help classify them as related species, rather than focusing on physical or structure of any species.

_________ is a smooth muscle cell has a central nucleus but lacks striations.
Natalija [7]

Answer:

Linings of hollow organs

Explanation:

Smooth muscle cells are usually found in the lining of hollow organs such as all arteries and veins, wall of stomach, uterus, urinary bladder, digestive system etc. The cells of these linings are spindle shaped and consist of a nucleus at the center which lacks striations.

They work as a housekeeper and are under involuntary control except the heart. They lack striation because of irregular arraying of actin and myosin filament along the length of the cell.

The gene pool is defined as the set of all genes in population. The larger the genetic pool in population is, the grater genetic diversity is so the population can survive intense process of selection. How do ATP and ADP compare? A. ATP has one fewer phosphate group and is lower in energy than ADP. B. ATP has one fewer phosphate
Lady bird [3.3K]
D. ATP (Adenosine TRIphosphate) has one more phosphate group and is higher in energy than ADP (Adenosine DIphosphate). TRI means three, DI means two, so the names of the molecules tell you there's one more phosphate in ATP than in ADP.

That extra phosphate makes ATP higher in energy (when the cell uses that energy to do something - contract a muscle fiber, for instance - the ATP's extra energy is used and it gets converted to ADP).

Someone help me with this
nadya68 [22]
A horseshoe crab has been around for almost 500 million years. They are classified as arthropods and not actual crabs. However, There are many reasons that have helped them survive this long including, they can eat almost any organic matter. There blood is different from normal, in fact it’s blue. This blood helps them heal any wounds right away. They can also live in areas with very low levels of oxygen, meaning habitat is not a big issue for them. Evolution has also helped them grow and adapt seeing as they’ve survived this long.

Hope that helps:)
