How might a job become automated? Include an example.

For instance, a customer service job is basically answering the phone and putting things into the computer or a device most of the time. So, since robots are being created to work in factories and other places, they could also be programmed to work for other jobs, using my example, customer service.

Automated means: When something is operated with for example a machine that works by itself. A job that might become automated is plumbers. They can get robots to plumb your toilet in no time or.... for example say you want to flush and nothing gets down the drain the machine can automatically plunge your toilet as sooon as you go and the plunge will be inside the toilet so it’s working on it’s own as soon as it flushes.
