Answer:Almost all retirees in the United States do receive Social Security benefits when they stop working—assuming they've reached retirement age, of course. But those who have spent little time in the U.S. workforce, whether due to full-time homemaking or working abroad, may not qualify.

Answer:

Public service workers often are not covered by Social Security, so their employer (state or local government) does not pay into Social Security as other employers do. Since the worker does not qualify for Social Security benefits, his/her pension is the only source of retirement security.

why is the power of impeachment in the hands of the house, and the responsibility for trying an impeached official in the hands
Pachacha [2.7K]

The reason the power of impeachment is in the hands of the house and the responsibility for trying an impeached official in the hands of the senate instead of the judiciary branch is to create a perfect "Check and Balance."

This is because it is believed that the numbers of the Congress would make it difficult for the executive officials, particularly the President, to influence their decision, unlike the Judiciary branch.

Also, because the President appoints the Justices to the Supreme Court bench, it is assumed that some of these Justices might be loyal to the President when it comes to decision time.

Hence, in this case, it is concluded that for the sake of Checks and Balances, the power of impeachment is distributed among Congress.

Like most characteristics of a population, WAIS-IV scores are distributed in a bell or normal curve. Which of the following is a
skad [1K]

Answer:

Scores are clumped around the midpoint.

Explanation:

The bell curve is used to describe a situation where a variable has a normal distribution. In this case, the scores are grouped around the midpoint, this is because the values presented as data from a survey are grouped around an average.

The highest point on this curve refers to the event that is most likely to happen. On the other hand, the points distributed around the curve represent the phenomena that have an equal distribution around the event with the greatest probability of occurring.
