Depends on what it is your asking about why?
Some countries are developed and some are still developing
The third statement is correct.
Nick, who was our dorm advisor, and Joe, Nick's roommate, raised their concerns to the school residence office. They wanted to know why Dennis didn't have to share a room.
In the first statement, there are two subjects- Nick and Joe. However, "his" is used in the predicate referring only to one of the two subjects. This made the sentence incorrect. The same with the second statement. It used not only "his" in the first sentence, but it also used "he" in the second sentence referring to only one of the two subjects mentioned, instead of "they".
Programs in which anyone who meets the criteria is eligible to participate are called Contributory programs. Contribution-based systems, such as those seen in Social Security, Medicare, and unemployment insurance, require contributors to the program for beneficiaries to be eligible. The federal government has a wide range of entitlement programs that are all intended to give individuals financial assistance.

What is a contributory program?

The majority of people who hear the term immediately conjure up contributions-based schemes like Social Security or social insurance. In exchange for receiving financial benefits once they reach retirement age, these welfare programs in the US demand that workers contribute a percentage of their salary.

What is the difference between contributory and noncontributory programs?

- Contributory - Plans for group life insurance where the company pays the majority of the premium and the employee "contributes" a portion of it those.
- Noncontributory - Group life insurance policies are ones in which the company pays the full premium cost and the employee makes no payment toward the premiums.

Industrial revolution affected the north a great deal and was all pretty much positive except for the problems that came when immigrants started coming in but the immigrants made the population in the north skyrocket. The economy was doing well, the transportation system was going good. The only problems were the labor unions that formed when the workers decided they wanted more pay and better working conditions and the wealthy wanted to increase profits in their businesses. In the South there were many struggles when it came to segregation and discrimination against african americans. The economy was being rebuilt after it wasnearly destroyed during the civil war and the railways were also. The population was low and it didnt seem like a great place to be during this period. In the midwest there were also labor unions like in the north but they like the north also had many positive things come out of the revolution like there transportation system and their rapid population growth because of immigrants. In the West their transportaion was great with the transcontinental railroad and there economy base was agriculture but they had problems when immigrats from China came in and offered to work for less wages, this threatened everyone elses jobs. If i had to choose a region to live in during this time it would either be the North or Midwest because their economy was booming, the cities were expanding, the population was growing like crazy and it seems like the best places to have been in during that time.
