Answer:

The answer is the square root of 8, or 2root2.

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the distance formula.

d = sqrt((-3-(-5))^2 + (-3-(-1)))

d = sqrt(2^2 + 2^2)

d = sqrt(4 + 4)

d = sqrt8

d = sqrt4 * sqrt2

d = 2 * sqrt2

Does the frequency distribution appear to have a normal distribution using a strict interpretation of the relevant criteria?Tem
Xelga [282]

Answer:

B. No, this distribution does not appear to be normal

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello!

To observe what shape the data takes, it is best to make a graph. For me, the best type of graph is a histogram.

The first step to take is to calculate the classmark`for each of the given temperature intervals. Each class mark will be the midpoint of each bar.

As you can see in the graphic (2nd attachment) there are no values of frequency for the interval [40-44] and the rest of the data show asymmetry skewed to the left. Just because one of the intervals doesn't have an observed frequency is enough to say that these values do not meet the requirements to have a normal distribution.

The answer is B.

I hope it helps!

The coefficient of 8 • 2N is _____.
lesantik [10]

Answer:

16 is the coefficient of N.

Step-by-step explanation:

Coefficient is a multiplicative factor in some term of a polynomial, a series, or any expression; it is usually a number, but may be any expression. In the latter case, the variables appearing in the coefficients are often called parameters, and must be clearly distinguished from the other variables. The coefficients of an algebraic term can be positive or negative, and this multiplies the unknown term.

For example:

In 2a, 2 is the coefficient of a;

In x, 1 is the coefficient of x but it is not visible;

In 2/3p, 2/3 is the coefficient of p;

In -3f, -3 is the coefficient of f;

In 3 × 6t, 18 is the coefficient of t.

Variable is a symbol, commonly a single letter, that represents a number, called the value of the variable, which is either arbitrary, not fully specified, or unknown. Making algebraic computations with variables as if they were explicit numbers allows one to solve a range of problems in a single computation. A typical example is the quadratic formula, which allows one to solve every quadratic equation by simply substituting the numeric values of the coefficients of the given equation for the variables that represent them.

So,

In 8 × 2N, 16 is the coefficient of N ( 8 × 2 = 16)

N is the variable.
